January-
Elizabeth lounges in her high chair. She had just one tooth and had started eating solids.
February-
Grandma Miller visited Elizabeth and took her to many, many fun places, including Disney's Animal Kingdom. She learned how to crawl while Grandma was here.
March-
Angela came to visit all of us. Elizabeth had "fang" teeth and loved to smile for us.
April-
We had a lovely Easter celebration and had a particularly wonderful time watching Elizabeth and her cousin Bradley play together.
May-
Elizabeth took her first plan ride for Family Reunion. We started out in Arnold, MO and drove to Evansville, IN. She was a fabulous traveler, though a bit weary of all the family members who she met for the first time.
June-
Elizabeth turned one year old. She was not quite walking but she was finally sleeping through the night more. She loved her new birthday toys but cried when she tried her cake.
July and August-
Elizabeth learned how to walk. She settled into a predictable nap schedule. While her Mommy was on summer vacation, the two of them had so much fun together walking the lake, going to the park, and playing with toys at home. Daddy spent as much time as possible with the two of them.
September-
Grandma Miller visited us a second time and took Elizabeth even more places, including Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Daytona Beach. By this time, Elizabeth could say quite a number of words, including Gama for Grandma.
October-
Elizabeth was Minnie Mouse for Halloween, though she did not want to wear her adorable ears that Aunt Sharon made. She did enjoy the eating her first candy bar and a visit to the pumpkin patch with her Mimi and Pop-pop.
November and December-
Elizabeth expanded her vocabulary, spent a lot of time at the park, and showed all of us how to enjoy every minute of life! For the pictures, just check out the Christmas post!
